The Mousieleum®

Got pets and need to trap mice in your house? Traps work well (and are much more humane than poison) but sometimes they need to be placed where they are in harm’s way to dogs. Plus, the results are unsightly and the mess can soil floors, carpets, and rugs. There’s a better way to go about this. The Mousieleum© from Vogt Toolworks puts the trap on a tray which goes inside the box and is secured in the closed position with a locking knob. It works with readily available mouse trap models.

You can look through the top screened opening to see when the trap has sprung. One manufacturer has a bar indicating when the trap is set. Inexpensive wooden traps can be easily disposed of without touching either the trap or animal.

The Mousieleum is reusable and the inside surfaces are Melamine, an easy to clean plastic surface.

The Mousieleum improves the efficiency of trapping mice because it can go where needed, not just where the pet can’t get to the trap.

It also directs the mouse to approach the mechanism straight on, improving the chances of a quick end.
